Enjoy a tail-wagging stay at The Llanfendigaid Estate

At The Llanfendigaid Estate, four-legged guests are welcomed with as much warmth as their owners in the majority of our self-catering properties. Llanfendigaid HouseThe Cow ShedDove Cottage and Stable Cottage are all equipped for your VIPs – Very Important Pooches! We accept two dogs per property for a small fee of £50 per dog per stay in the larger main house and £30 per dog per stay in the other three.

We do have a few simple rules in order to keep the estate an idyllic holiday destination for everyone … even those rare humans who don’t love dogs:

  • Dogs must be older than 12 months – no playful little pups sorry, even if they are adorable.
  • Please keep four-legged friends off the furniture and out of the bedrooms.
  • Do not leave your canine companion unattended in any of the properties – new environments can cause much distress.
  • Any mess must be cleared away as soon as possible and placed in the dog poo bins provided.
  • There is livestock in the fields surrounding the estate; a good recall is essential if you’d like to let your dog of their lead.
  • When returning from muddy/sandy walks, please use the hose next to the workshop for rinsing muddy paws.
  • You will be liable in the unlikely event of any damage or if excess cleaning is required as a result of your dog/s.

We know that dogs can be quite picky about their home comforts so we trust that you’ll bring their bed, blankets, towels, treats and food with you. However, you’ll find water bowls and food bowls in each property for you to use during your stay. Additional supplies can be purchased from The Pet Shop, located on the High Street in nearby Tywyn.

In case of emergencies, we can recommend two local vets for you to contact:

Williams Vets on the outskirts of Tywyn – 01654 710948.
Cambrian Vets in Tywyn itself – 01654 710416.

With lots of dog friendly places to explore nearby, canine companions will have a tail-wagging time accompanying you on your trip to The Llanfendigaid Estate. While surrounded by countryside, the estate is a mere 20-minute walk from the nearest beach, where four-legged friends can run off their leads and enjoy a doggy paddle. The property is also minutes from the Wales Coast Path which is fantastic for scenic dog walks.
