Step through the door of this traditional Welsh cottage and you’ll instantly feel at home. With its characterful upside-down layout, whitewashed walls and aged wooden beams in the open plan living space, and a wood burning stove to light on colder days, it’s a warm and welcoming space for all who stay.
Lots to explore
The cottage is absolutely stunning, so much thought has gone into every little detail and the pool is amazing! The scenery and local area is beautiful and there’s lots to explore. We will definitely be back to stay again and would highly recommend to friends and family!

Dove cottage is a stunning property in a beautiful location. We had a very cosy and enjoyable stay. The swimming pool is an added luxury which our son thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Throughly enjoyed our stay
Throughly enjoyed our stay at Dove Cottage. It was beautifully decorated, the beds were lovely and comfy and it really had a home-from-home feel to it. Lovely walk down the lane to the beach which was great for my dog. I would highly recommend to everyone, and we can’t wait for a return visit!

The Great Outdoors
In the midst of Snowdonia National Park, it’s perfect for those who love to spend time in nature, but, within walking distance of the Welsh coastline, it offers the ultimate combination of both land and sea.
Dove Cottage is beautifully decorated throughout, with eco-friendly paints and carefully chosen fittings and fixtures that exhibit an air of modernity, while keeping one eye on the past. The cottage is upside down, in that the open plan living, dining and kitchen area is above the bedrooms.
The upstairs living space with its vaulted timber framed ceilings and statement lights has amazing wow factor. Reclaimed wooden floors, a wood burner and cloud-like couches, make it the ultimate space to retreat to. During the summer months, leave the windows open if you want to relax to the sound of birdsong. For entertainment, there is a TV with Freeview and WiFi throughout the house.
The country-style kitchen is fully equipped to rustle up decision meals and snacks while the Quooker hot tap means guests are only seconds away from the perfect cup of tea. There’s no washing up either, thanks to the dishwasher.
Next to the kitchen the lovely dining space has a large table perfect for leisurely meals, competitive card games or perhaps catching up on a spot of work – not too much though, we hope.
Downstairs, there is a roomy double bedroom with a super king-sized bed, hand painted furniture and thoughtfully selected artwork. The twin bedroom is a real child-pleaser with its pompom-adorned lampshade and felt bunny on the wall. It has two single beds that are perfectly sized for any adults staying too. Both rooms have cushions and blankets galore. However, the cast iron radiators throughout ensure that all rooms are kept toasty warm.
The huge family bathroom is set on the ground floor and has recently been given a stunning makeover and is painted in relaxing soft blues and whites. This welcoming space has both a roomy bath and a large walk-in shower. There’s plenty of storage space for all your bits and bobs.
