About Llanfendigaid

Our location, guest information, the history and more.

Llanfendigaid Estate is in the Snowdonia National Park, on one of the most attractive stretches of the Welsh coastline. With four luxurious holiday properties that can be booked together to accommodate group bookings, weddings and special occasions – or individually to cater for family holidays, short breaks and romantic weekends away. Two of the cottages are dog-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged family member too.

Because it is such a rural setting, free from background noise and light pollution and just a short walk to the seashore (approx 15 minutes), it’s really tranquil at Llanfendigaid. Children love exploring the estate and having fun in the indoor heated swimming pool, whilst there is lots of space for adults to relax and enjoy your holiday in Wales as well.

Tonfanau railway station is just one mile away  (a nice 15 minute walk), with easy access to Aberdyfi, Tywyn, Barmouth, Fairbourne and beyond.

Covid-19 Update

We are now delighted to tell you that we have re-opened though with some restrictions as per Welsh Assembly Government instructions here:

New bookings for dates after 1st August 2020 are protected

We have implemented a flexible cancellation policy  for new bookings that will allow you to cancel for up to 2 full days before the start of your holiday and get a full refund. This does not cover you for the last 2 days before your arrival so we still recommend that you get UK travel insurance (just in case you were unable to travel at the last minute for health reasons for example) but it does give you peace of mind and you can book with confidence
